To create my Futuristic Knickers I used a few techniques of stitching.
I use a straight stitch, intermittent zigzag and hand stitches.
Straight stitch, as the name suggests - it's simple. We can use it for virtually anything, but not for hemming. This stitch can be made by hand, but it's very difficult to make it evenly.

I used a simple stitch to sew elastic straps to my panties. It is not perfect because I am still learning how to use a sawing machine.
Intermittent zigzag - Three-Step Zigzag. It's elastic stitches, allowing you to sew elastic materials, knitwear, eliminating wrinkling when sewing elastic and stretchable fabrics.
A three-step zigzag stitch works more in a series of tiny straight stitches and This prevents the side-to-side pulling.

Hand stitches - Running stitch is one of the most basic stitches.
This stitch can be worked in straight or curved lines or for assembly when finishing an embroidery project. It even works well for top-stitching something by hand, giving it a charming edging (Johanson, 2020).
My knickers are ready and I can't wait to show you how they fit on.
