The best way to advertise your own exhibition will be posters, banners, which I can hang almost anywhere. I was thinking about coffee bars like Brue, 200Degress, St Martins Caffee where students and artist most often hang out. I would also place posters at the university and promote the exhibition on social media, e.g. on Instagram.
I would like to send the invitation to my friends, dance students, tutors in Art&Design course and those who work in the dance industry.
People start to judge as soon as they hear about the exhibition. Will it be good? Who else will appear? Is my time valuable? Can I do something better tonight? These are the questions that most often appear in our head.
An invitation to the exhibition will be sent by post, e-mail or personally.
My invitation will be a single fold and it has the same colours and background as my poster. Single fold it is folded in half to form 4 equal-size panels.
The size will be 210 x 297 mm (A4). The paper will be matt. Matt doesn't have a coating so is more porous than gloss or semi-gloss paper. Printed colours are relatively subtle and warm.
